This weekend we went back up to the White Mountains with Grandma and Grandpa Eagar, and scouted for elk and enjoyed the cool weather. Piper loved sitting in the green grassy meadows. She could not stand sitting in her car seat, so we would let her stick her head out the truck when we were on the back roads...(like a puppy dog).
Here's our family picture around the campfire. We had BBQ ribs over the fire!
Piper and Grandpa enjoyed laying in the grass. Piper tried to eat all the leaves while pappy swatted the flies away.
Most 8 month olds' don't get to sit around a campfire with their papas like Piper does.
Here is a sample of what Piper was doing every time we went looking for elk. Her and her lil' bear ears.
Piper got her first taste of Bear Wallow Biscuits and Gravy. We shed a tear of joy! It was a magical moment.
Like I said..... we could have left her there, and she would have just waved goodbye.

Lisa she is so dang cute. My little guy loves the outdoors as well. If he is ever having a rough day I just take him outside and he settles right down. Looks like lots of fun. We need to hang out sometime.
